Nayib has set Twitter on fire after sharing a video of technicians setting up crypto mining platforms.

Bukele, whose video didn't provide comprehensive footage, wrote "#btc" alongside an emoji representing a Volcano, with the country's flag on top.

Unsurprisingly, this move is a consequence of El Salvador's adoption of Bitcoin as a legal tender. Beforehand, Bukele had instructed the state-owned LaGeo Company to set up a mining facility using a renewable energy system.

Bitcoin mining involves utilizing sophisticated computers and high energy consumption to mine cryptocurrency. Rising global warming, increased energy demand, alongside other reasons, made China ban Bitcoin and exchanges trading Bitcoin. Prominent figures like Elon Musk had also criticized bitcoin's high energy demands.

Bukele’s act has given a much-needed boost to Bitcoin.

He is a hero who didn’t just dare to adopt Bitcoin as a legal tender but also championed the cause for using cleaner energy in Bitcoin mining and other industrial activities.
